In the Kashkadarya "Kitob" pass, a dislodged rock crushed a "Cobalt" car. We had reported that the "Takhta Karacha" pass was temporarily closed to vehicular traffic here.
At the pass, the rock crushed Cobalt was said to be carrying three Hungarian tourists.
It is reported that the driver and three citizens of Hungary were killed.
Today, at around 16:00, in the Kitob district on the M-39 road at the 1138 km mark, on the "Kitob-Samarkand" route, a Cobalt car with the license plate number 30 G452 XA was hit by approximately 28 cubic meters of fallen rock, resulting in the deaths of three Hungarian citizens and one Uzbekistan citizen inside the car.
