In the Andijan region, an Internal Affairs Department employee suspected of having sexual relations with a minor has been arrested. The regional prosecutor's office reported this here.
It is noted that a girl born in 2010 left her home on June 3 of this year and did not return. In connection with this incident, pre-investigation checks were conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Qurghontepa district.
During the investigation, it was found that S.B., who worked as an inspector-social worker at the Andijan Regional Internal Affairs Department's Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors, took the minor to one of the apartments in the city of Andijan and had sexual relations with her.
Subsequently, a criminal case was initiated against him under Article 128, Part 3, Clause "c" of the Criminal Code. By a court decision, a preventive measure of detention was applied to the suspect.
According to the prosecutor's office, preliminary investigative actions are currently being carried out in the case. The investigation process is under the supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
