The Migration Agency issued a warning on January 9th about weather conditions for Uzbek citizens currently in Kazakhstan and those moving along transit routes here.

It is reported that severe drops in temperature across Kazakhstan are causing inconveniences in road travel. Major roads are experiencing heavy snowstorms and freezing conditions. This is making it difficult to travel on highways.

“In this regard, we urge Uzbek citizens in the neighboring country to strictly adhere to all safety regulations when traveling on the roads, to take the train or plane if absolutely necessary, and to avoid traveling long distances by vehicle if not necessary”, states the agency's message.
