In Tashkent, a BYD attempting to yield to pedestrians ended up hitting them.

The car, unable to maintain a safe distance, collided with the Nissan.

On January 7 of the current year, at around 16:45, two pedestrians crossing the road in front of the house at 53 Mustaqillik Street in Mirzo Ulugbek district were hit by a car. 

According to the report from the Tashkent City Police Department, the accident occurred when a BYD model vehicle, driven by T.L., born in 2000, failed to maintain a safe distance and crashed into the rear of a Nissan vehicle, driven by Z.E., born in 1966, that had stopped to give way to pedestrians at a designated crosswalk. 

As a result of the collision, the Nissan vehicle was pushed into the oncoming lane and struck pedestrians A.U., born in 2003, and A.Z., born in 1992, who were crossing the road. 

First aid was administered to the pedestrians as a result of the accident.

Investigative actions are being carried out by the responsible officers regarding the incident.
