"National Revival" party leader Alisher Qodirov noted that all external writings, announcements, and signs in Uzbekistan must be in the Uzbek language.
Only in necessary cases, they may be repeated in other languages.
"The attitude towards the Uzbek language, being the most important national value, needs to radically change. First and foremost, entrepreneurs, property owners, and government agencies should demonstrate respect for the Uzbek language and set an example in complying with the law. The society must be principled on this matter," — says A.Qodirov.
