The "Navoi" border customs post ("Zangiota" border checkpoint), located in the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region and recently constructed, has started operating in a test mode since January 27, 2025. The press service of the Customs Committee reported this.
In this modern customs post, there are spacious and well-lit halls for citizens, with all necessary conditions, and separate lanes organized for buses and light motor vehicles as well as their passengers.
A modern parking area has been constructed adjacent to the customs post, capable of accommodating more than 500 light motor vehicles and over 100 buses at the same time, facilitating international and local route public transport, as well as taxi services.
The parking area includes waiting areas for vehicles, fast food restaurants, cafés and other household and social services, and additionally, a transparent electronic queue system will be introduced for international route vehicles.
