In accordance with the order, the following will be established:
▪️Under the Veterinary Committee, pasture farms in Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoiy, Samarkand, and Surkhandarya (regional pasture farms);
▪️A Department for the Development of Pasture Farming within the central apparatus of the Veterinary Committee;
▪️A national commission for organizing the efficient use of pasture lands and their protection, and for further developing the karakul sheep breeding, leather, and wool industries.
The regional pasture farms will use the rights and obligations determined for forestry enterprises in the management of pasture lands and leasing pastures granted to them for permanent use.
Pastures can be leased directly to livestock and other farms based on the decision of the National Commission.
Pastures can be leased for up to 49 years.
By December 1, 2025, the "E-pasture" electronic platform aimed at the efficient use of pastures will be launched.
