The Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan supported the "Law on Ensuring Freedom of Conscience and Approving the Concept of State Policy in the Religious Sphere in the Republic of Uzbekistan" project.
The concept's section 3 emphasizes that religious values have served to shape the culture, lifestyle, customs, and ethics of the Uzbek people, as well as their inheritance from generation to generation, which is considered a vivid testament to the respect and recognition of all religions in our state.
It should be noted that the concept aims to create a stable environment for living and consistently progressing based on freedom, equality, social justice, and solidarity in our multi-ethnic and multi-confessional country. Specifically, the document emphasizes "ensuring every person's right to equal rights, opportunities, and protection under the law, creating a social environment where every individual is valued, respected, and their opinion considered," as distinctly mentioned.
Therefore, such efforts are even more significant as they are aimed at enhancing human dignity, strengthening interethnic and interreligious relations, and ensuring peace and tranquility.
