Uzbekistan imports coal from Afghanistan for its trade balance.
It has been reported that during a meeting in Kabul, the Uzbekistan delegation expressed its readiness to import Afghan coal to the representatives of the "Taliban" Ministry of Industry and Trade. In this regard, private companies of the two countries have signed trade contracts worth 4.5 million dollars.
Moreover, the parties discussed issues of trade privileges, the construction of a cement plant in the Samangan province of Afghanistan, and the organization of joint exhibitions.
