In the Syrdarya region, individuals associated with a methane "filling station" that illegally used natural gas worth 5.7 billion UZS were exposed for throwing a narcotic substance into the car of an "Uzenergyinspection" employee who came for an inspection. This was reported by "Uzenergyinspection".
It is noted that on February 8 of this year, a control event was held at the AGTKSDA belonging to "P.M.G." LLC in the Syrdarya district of the Syrdarya region by specialists of the central apparatus of "Uzenergyinspection".
When specialists went to examine the gas meter of the AGTKS, an unknown person holding various cables exited the room where the gas meter was installed and fled the scene. Subsequently, when the gas meter was examined, and it was observed that its communication network was not disconnected, suspecting external interference, the decision to open and inspect the meter's configurations was met with obstruction from the leaders of the AGTKSH and resistance to opening the meter was shown.
Unexpectedly at that time, a rapid response representative of the Syrdarya district Department of Internal Affairs arrived, inspected the car belonging to Uzenergyinspection specialist A.N., and upon finding a suspicious substance, took the specialist away from the scene.
According to investigations conducted by law enforcement agencies concerning this incident, it was determined that the act was deliberately organized by relevant individuals of AGTKSH.
Furthermore, during the event, it was also identified that an external influence was exerted on the gas metering device's database owned by the society.
Based on preliminary calculations, the damage incurred to the state interests amounted to 5 billion 740 million UZS (2.2 million m3).
The documents gathered regarding the identified case have been sent to the prosecutorial bodies for legal assessment.
For information, this incident of illegal use of natural gas had been repeated at this business entity, i.e., in 2024, an inspector specialist identified cases of illegal use of natural gas at 2 AGTKSHs belonging to the leader of the AGTKSH in the Syrdarya region ("S.A.L." and "M.G." LLCs), calculating a total damage of 28.3 billion UZS.
