It is known that from March 1, 2025, pensions for citizens of retirement age will be assigned “automatically”, that is, without requiring any documents and without the need for an application from the citizen will be assigned.
All personal information about the citizen will be taken from the electronic databases of ministries and departments.
As a result:
First, the citizens will not be required to apply to the regional branch of the Pension Fund to appoint a pension.
Second, when a decision is made to appoint a pension within the framework of the requirements established by law to a citizen of retirement age, an SMS about “the assignment of the pension and its amount” will be sent to their phone number.
Furthermore, citizens who wish to continue their work activity without retiring or who are dissatisfied with the amount of the pension will be given the right to reject the “automatically” assigned pension.
If citizens are dissatisfied with the pension being assigned, the amount of the pension, or the rejection of the pension assignment, they can apply to the district (city) branch of the Pension Fund in the prescribed manner with an application.
