Dear compatriots!
First of all, I sincerely congratulate you, our entire nation, on the great holiday – the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and express my highest respect and best wishes to all of you here.
In these blissful moments, we give infinite thanks to the Creator for being able to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in such joy and happiness with our people, having duly spent the Ramadan month this year.
Indeed, the holy month of Ramadan has made it even more evident how the noble values of the sacred religion of Islam, which is fundamentally a humanitarian ideology, align and harmonize with the reforms being implemented in the New Uzbekistan, it would be true to say.
When talking about this, it is necessary to emphasize that all conditions have been created for our nation's Muslims to freely perform their religious duties in a manner befitting our national traditions and values, especially highlighting the virtues of spiritual purification, patience, gratitude, and charity during this month.
In particular, the fact that this blessed month was celebrated based on the idea of "Ramadan – a month of generosity, solidarity, and tolerance" has served to further strengthen the atmosphere of peace, friendship, compassion, and charity in our society.
For this purpose, it's essential to mention the numerous charity events carried out, such as caring for the underprivileged, needy families, the elderly, disabled, and lonely individuals, easing the burdens of the less fortunate, beautifying homes and neighborhoods, engaging generations in mass tree planting, and establishing new parks and gardens. Among these, the Iftar ceremonies that united representatives of our multi-ethnic, multi-confessional country across the republic clearly demonstrated that our strength lies in unity and cohesion.
I believe that such ceremonies, which have become a good tradition in recent years, are of unparalleled importance in terms of elevating the value of human dignity, unifying our hardworking and noble nation as a single, cohesive family, and we will certainly continue these efforts in the future.
Dear friends!
As you all know, Islam is, first and foremost, a doctrine that venerates humanity, knowledge, science, enlightenment, and noble virtues.
In this regard, significant attention has been given in our country in recent years to collecting, studying, and widely promoting the rich scientific-spiritual heritage founded on Islamic civilization and culture. For this purpose, new scientific-educational centers, religious education institutions, and sacred pilgrimage sites have been established in our country, conducting effective activities.
Undoubtedly, all these indicate that, alongside all sectors and branches, the religious-educational life is also continuously developing in our beautiful land. I would like to emphasize the worthy contribution of our country's Muslims and our entire nation in these endeavors and express my sincere gratitude to all of you for it.
In this glorious holiday, we also heartily congratulate our compatriots living abroad with loyalty to their homeland on Ramadan Eid, and express our good wishes to them.
On this auspicious day, we warmly congratulate the Muslim Ummah in distant and near countries of the world, sending our greetings of friendship to their peoples and countries.
Dear and respected compatriots!
I once again heartily congratulate you on Ramadan Eid from the bottom of my heart and wish you all strong health, happiness, and prosperity in your homes.
May all our good intentions and prayers during Ramadan be accepted!
May the Almighty protect our beloved Homeland and people in His sanctuary!
May the Eid al-Fitr holiday be blessed for all of us!
Shavkat Mirziyoyev,
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
