Entrepreneurs opening Uzbek national cuisine restaurants abroad will have a portion of their expenses covered by local business initiatives. This is stipulated in the president's decree on “taking measures to significantly increase the flow of tourists and rapidly expand the scope of tourism services in 2025—2026, thereby enhancing the role and importance of tourism in the economy” as planned.
Accordingly, the Tourism Committee will subsidize certain expenses when local entrepreneurs establish 50 specialized Uzbek national cuisine catering enterprises and restaurants in leading foreign countries annually.
That is, 50 percent of the expenses related to registration, obtaining permits, rent, design, and the purchase of necessary equipment and tools, but not exceeding a one-time subsidy of $25,000 will be allocated.
For preparing meals, 50 percent of the transport costs for delivering 300 kilograms of products from Uzbekistan per year will be subsidized, up to 100 million UZS for each entrepreneurial entity. For this purpose, 30 billion UZS will be allocated annually.
Furthermore, from September 1, 2025, to January 1, 2028, within the framework of 50 billion UZS allocated annually, 50 percent of the costs for creating and promoting audiovisual products (video films, video clips, clips, and anime videos) aimed at promoting the activities of hotels, general catering enterprises, and restaurants, but not exceeding 50 million UZS will be covered from the Tourism Support Fund's account.
For these goals, 20 billion UZS will be allocated annually.
