Tashkent – Angren – Kamchik Pass route will have a 171-kilometer parallel highway built.

On this route, the construction of 33 kilometers of tunnels and a number of major engineering structures is planned.

Information was provided to the head of our state about the sources of financing being developed for these major projects and the negotiations being conducted to attract foreign investors.

It was emphasized that special attention must be paid to the use of modern transport engineering solutions in highway design, the implementation of intelligent management and monitoring systems, and ensuring traffic safety.

The presentation also provided information on the progress of the construction projects for the Tashkent - Charvak and Urgench - Khiva roads

Furthermore, the main parameters of the project for constructing Tashkent's new international airport were reviewed. The first stage plans to build a passenger terminal covering 208.4 thousand square meters and two runways, each 4 kilometers long.

At the same time, it is envisaged to create infrastructure capable of serving 20 million passengers per year, ensuring 30 takeoffs and landings per hour, and organizing parking for 169 aircraft.

Information was also provided on the design and survey work currently being carried out in the future airport area and about the upcoming stages.

Our President gave instructions to the responsible persons to thoroughly prepare the projects from technical and economic aspects, organize construction work based on modern standards, and ensure the long-term stable operation of the transport infrastructure.
