Seven children in critical condition were brought to the children's department of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medicine after drowning in a pool in one of the households in Tashkent city. This was reported by the "Millar" program.
Two of them died before reaching the hospital. The other five were admitted to the resuscitation department.
According to reports, all five patients were brought in a coma. They were placed on artificial respiration. Currently, three of them have regained consciousness and been transferred to a regular ward. The remaining two are still in extremely critical condition, remaining in a coma.
In particular, one of them had a stopped heart for about 40 minutes upon arrival but was revived after resuscitation efforts. Specialists noted that it would be difficult for patients to recover their condition after prolonged hypoxia.
