During the videoconference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, strict warnings were issued to governors and officials.
The head of state emphasized that abnormal heatwaves or severe cold can no longer be an excuse for delays, stressing the need to cultivate climate-resistant crops and increase food exports.
It was noted at the meeting that food exports grew by 44% over the past six months, reaching $1.3 billion.
However, some regions—Surkhandarya, Tashkent region, Karakalpakstan, and Navoi—are lagging in exports. The President demanded that the leaders of these regions and consolidated officials sharply increase their activity.
