On September 8, the lawsuit of a group of teachers who were dissatisfied with the subject of their native language and literature in Tashkent against the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was concluded.
According to their demand, they had requested that the certification exams be retaken and that moral damages be compensated.
According to Xalqtalimiinfo, the court found their application groundless and ruled in favor of the ministry. The teachers have the right to appeal to a higher authority.
For reference, nearly 190,000 teachers participated in the certification this year, and 59 percent of them failed the exam.
During the process, there were complaints on social networks regarding the quality of the questions and fairness, but the ministry emphasizes that all exams were conducted based on international standards.
