A 13-year-old boy living in Kunduz city, Afghanistan, entered the landing gear compartment of a Kam Air aircraft and traveled all the way to Delhi. This was reported by the BBC publication.

According to reports, on the morning of September 21, he secretly boarded the Kabul-New Delhi flight. The flight lasted 94 minutes. After landing in India, the teenager was walking on the airfield for some time when he was spotted by security personnel.

During questioning, the boy said he intended to go to Tehran but mistakenly boarded the flight to India.

The teenager had no luggage with him and was lightly dressed. Experts emphasize that surviving under such conditions is almost impossible: the flight altitude can reach 9,000–12,000 meters, the air temperature can drop to minus 50 degrees, and a lack of oxygen occurs in the non-pressurized compartment. According to estimates, approximately 77 percent of stowaways perish in such situations.
