The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced new currency exchange rates effective from October 10, 2025.
According to it, the US dollar has become more expensive against the soum again.
According to the new rates:
1 dollar — 12,123.38 soum (+51.35 soum)
1 euro — 14,094.64 soum (+77.81 soum)
1 ruble — 149.19 soum (+1.18 soum)
At the same time, in recent months, a gradual depreciation of the soum against major currency units like the dollar and euro has been observed.
This, in turn, could affect import costs, external debt, and the prices of some goods on the domestic market.
