In Uzbekistan, measures to organize the activities of the Ministry of Education and Science have been determined. The Ministry of Justice reported this.
In accordance with the presidential decision, the ministry is the authorized republican executive body in the fields of education, science and scientific activity.
According to the document, a Call center and a feedback system will be put in place in the ministry on an outsourcing basis. Through the Call center, appeals, complaints, suggestions and objections from the population will be received, promptly reviewed and forwarded to relevant organizations.
The feedback system will serve to ensure regular communication with the population and employees of the education and science system, to obtain information on the quality and accessibility of educational services, and to identify and analyze existing problems.
Also, a Public Council on Education, consisting of representatives of pupils, students, parents, teachers and employers, will be established under the Minister of Education and Science.
The Board of the Ministry will consist of 15 members. It will include the minister, his deputies, directors of agencies under the ministry, rectors of leading higher education organizations, scientists and teachers.
By the decision, the minister was granted the authority, as an exception, to hire employees for the ministry's central apparatus on the basis of a direct interview until February 1, 2027.
In addition, a special working group will be established under the Presidential Administration to develop a strategy for human capital development and continuous education.
Under the ministry, the Human Capital Development Fund, the Center for Strategic Research and Assessment in Education and Science, and the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills will also begin operating.
At the same time, the activities of the Center for Education Development under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education will be terminated.
Earlier, it was reported that deputies to the Minister of Education and Science had been appointed.
