According to data from the National Statistics Committee, nearly 8.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes in January-September 2025.
This figure is 2.8 million people or 49.3 percent higher than the same period last year.
Tourists mainly came from the following countries:
Kyrgyzstan - 2.4 million
Kazakhstan - 2 million
Tajikistan - 1.9 million
Russia - 757 thousand
Afghanistan - 343 thousand
Turkmenistan - 275 thousand
China - 177 thousand
Turkey - 130 thousand
India - 56 thousand
South Korea - 35 thousand
Other countries - 435 thousand people.
Such growth in tourist flow is explained by the consistent reforms on Uzbekistan's path to becoming an international tourism center.
