On the evening of December 10, the quarterfinal bouts of the IBA World Boxing Championships for adults concluded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nine members of the Uzbekistan national team secured tickets to the semifinals.
Eleven Uzbek boxers entered the ring for the IBA World Championship quarterfinal bouts. Two of them suffered defeats in their bouts and concluded the competition at this stage. Nine members of the Uzbekistan national team won their bouts and advanced to the semifinals.
The semifinal bouts will take place today, December 11.
The semifinal pairings are as follows:

-60 kg: Abdumalik Khalokov - Arthur Bazeyan (Armenia);
-67 kg: Asadkhuja Moydinkhujaev - Alexandru Paraschiv (Moldova);
-75 kg: Fazliddin Erkinboev - Sabirzhan Akkalykov (Kazakhstan);
+92 kg: Arman Makhanov - Davit Chaloyan (Armenia);
-51 kg: Hasanboy Dusmatov - Rudolf Garboyan (Armenia);
-57 kg: Khojanazar Nortozhiev - Khusravkhon Rakhimov (Tajikistan);
-80 kg: Javokhir Umataliev - Arlen Lopez Cardona (Cuba);
-92 kg: Turabek Khabibullaev - Alfonso Dominguez (Azerbaijan).
