In Uzbekistan, from June 7 to 14, mostly dry and relatively hot weather will persist. This was reported by Uzgidromet.
According to the report, no precipitation is expected in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region during the week. Only on June 7-8, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas of Karakalpakstan. Also, on some days, wind speed may increase to 20-22 meters per second, and dust storms may occur.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, dry weather will also persist during the week. In some areas, wind may strengthen and dust storms may occur. Daytime air temperature will be around 32-37 degrees.
No precipitation is expected in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions. Air temperature will mainly be 32-37 degrees, decreasing slightly on June 9-10 to 30-35 degrees.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the highest temperatures are expected. In these areas, daytime air temperature will rise to 35-40 degrees on June 8-14.
In the Fergana Valley regions — Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana — no precipitation is expected either. Daytime air temperature will be around 32-37 degrees.
In the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some places. Daytime air temperature is forecast to be in the range of 18-28 degrees.
According to synoptic forecasters, dry and hot weather will prevail in most regions of the country during the week.
