In Tashkent, two individuals were caught while demanding a large amount of money, promising to send citizens to South Korea for work and later to prepare documents for permanent residence in that country.

According to reports, the two individuals, born in 1994 and 1999, colluded and promised, through their acquaintances, to obtain a "G-1" visa, thereby sending citizens to South Korea for work, and later to formalize permanent residence permits for them.

They demanded $55,000 for their services and were caught red-handed by officers of the Tashkent City Department of the State Security Service and the Internal Affairs Department while receiving an advance payment of $25,000.

Additionally, a person born in 2001, residing in the Kosonsoy district of Namangan region, previously convicted of fraud, also offered to send a citizen to the United States through illegal means.

Through acquaintances, he demanded $50,000 for taking the person abroad via the route "Uzbekistan – Turkey – Spain – Mexico – USA".

He was caught during an operational operation in Tashkent conducted jointly by officers of the State Security Service and the Internal Affairs Department while receiving $20,000 of the requested amount.

Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and investigation activities are currently underway.

Authorities urged citizens not to be deceived by suspicious offers related to sending people abroad for work. For legal labor migration, it is recommended to contact the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, its regional departments, or private employment agencies with special licenses.
