On July 30th of this year, an intensified raid was conducted at the Kuylyk farmer's market in collaboration with the Sanitary-Epidemiological Committee of Tashkent city’s Bektemir district division and relevant organization employees. This was reported by the Information Service of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Committee of Tashkent city here.

During the raid, it was discovered that a food selling booth in the market was grossly violating sanitary rules, and despite several warnings and promotional activities, the situation on the site remained unchanged. As a result, the "food market's" operational activity was temporarily suspended.

It turns out, 150 kg of bananas, 21 kg of various salads, 45 liters of milk, and 32 kg of cooked meals were deemed unfit and were removed from sale and destroyed.
"The food market will not continue its operations until the sanitary condition is improved and experts conclude it meets the requirements," the report states.
