An explosion occurred in one of the households in the O'rta Ovul neighborhood of the O'rta Chirchiq district of the Tashkent region. As a result of the incident, four people from one family were killed.
According to preliminary information, a man born in 1996 and his three children died due to a fire that broke out after the explosion. The wife of the family and the man's mother were hospitalized in serious condition.
According to witnesses, a powerful explosion occurred during the night hours, alerting the entire neighborhood. According to one of the neighbors, the deceased man attempted to rescue his relatives at the time of the tragedy—he got his wife and mother out through a window, but perished himself while trying to save his children.
The causes of the explosion have not been officially disclosed yet. Investigative work is being carried out at the scene by the relevant authorities.
