In cases where there are confirmed complaints about the cooling systems of passenger carriages in a moving train along a certain direction not working, the passengers affected will be refunded an appropriate amount of money as compensation for the inability to moderate the air temperature and the failure of the cooling systems. The Competition Committee announced this.
As per the committee's suggestions, the payment for the air conditioning system for coupe-type carriages is applied without being charged additionally, deducted from the ticket price.
“Dear consumers, if you, too, have purchased a ticket from railway ticket offices and made a payment for the cooling system (air conditioner) services, yet faced dissatisfaction due to the cooling system (air conditioner) not working during your journey on passenger trains, you can lodge a complaint with the Competition Committee or “Uztemiryulyolovchi” JSC (with photo and video evidence confirming the non-functioning air conditioner during your journey),” states the report.

Moreover, based on the suggestions of the Competition Committee, “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC has announced that from the date of July 19th this year, no fee will be charged for the air conditioning system of coupe-type carriages, i.e., it has been deducted from the ticket price.
