Products in certain markets in Tashkent were removed from sale.

Products with altered organoleptic properties were destroyed in Tashkent. This was reported by the Information Service of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Committee of Tashkent city reported.

It was noted that specialists conducted studies on the sanitary condition and the quality of products at the Mirabad farmers market and the Fergana market belonging to "Beshqo'rg'on" LLC.

As a result, a number of products that were damaged and unfit for consumption were:

  • 12 kg bananas;
  •  58 kg tomatoes;
  • 23 kg bell peppers;
  •  5 kg peaches;
  •  5 kg cauliflower products were duly withdrawn from sale and scrapped.

Previously, it had been reported that the melons at the "Food City" farmers market were unfit for consumption.
