Accused of committing fraud since 2024, Barno Inotova, who has been on the wanted list, was deported from Turkey to Uzbekistan. The Consulate General in Istanbul reported this.
37-year-old woman, known by the pseudonym Bonu, was arrested in Istanbul during a rapid operation conducted in cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries.
"Victims of this individual's actions are requested to contact the Consulate General in Istanbul City of Uzbekistan or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan or its lower systems," — stated in the report.
The Consulate General warned that criminal prosecution against every individual who has been evading criminal liability and hiding in foreign countries, including Turkey, will be consistently continued, and the principle of liability for crime is strictly enforced.
Furthermore, due to the increasing number of appeals coming to the Consulate General, citizens are asked to be vigilant against fraudsters.
