Fraudsters who promised employment in Croatia have been arrested.

Two individuals who promised to send citizens to work in Croatia and demanded large sums of money were detained in Bukhara and Namangan.

Bukhorik, born in 1997 and previously convicted of fraud, introduced himself as a representative of a travel company and demanded $6,000 from three citizens in exchange for sending them to Croatia on a work visa.

He was apprehended in Tashkent while receiving $3,000.

Meanwhile, a Namangan resident born in 1999 claimed his brother worked in Croatia and demanded a total of $7,800 from three individuals. He was caught in Yangi Namangan district while receiving $3,900.

Criminal cases were initiated against both individuals under Part 2, Clause "a" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code.
