The first vice-president of the Uzbekistan Football Association, Ravshan Ermatov's father, Sayfiddin Ermatov, has passed away. The press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association reported this.
“We express our condolences to the relatives and family of Sayfiddin Ermatov, who has contributed to the development of Uzbek football through his years of preparing talented athletes and his activity in refereeing and inspection,” the report says.
For your information, Sayfiddin Gaziyevich Ermatov was born on February 22, 1953, in Tashkent. He has been involved in the game of millions over the years, including playing for teams such as “Pakhtakor”, “Spartak”, and “Avtomobilist”. After that, Sayfiddin Gaziyevich taught football to youngsters at the “Pakhtakor” youth sports school and the Republic High School of Sports Mastery in football, popularly known as “Chigatoy”. He later worked effectively as a football referee and inspector.
Moreover, he was the head coach of the Uzbekistan youth national team composed of players born in 1982, including talented players such as Server Jeparov, Shuhrat Mirkholdirshoyev, Yaroslav Krushelnitskiy, and Yuriy Nikitov.
