In the Ghuzor district of the Kashkadarya region, a woman killed her husband and threw him into a well. Abdurahmon Tashanov, the head of the “Ezgulik” human rights society, reported this.
According to him, the deceased was around 40 years old, and his body has been taken for examination.
“Sociologists, psychologists should step in at such times. Institutions studying social problems should talk about this, unfortunately, there is no analysis or any thoughtful consideration to cling to. What should we do? What is happening to women? Can anyone say anything?”, he says.
According to Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's office, speaking to darakchi.uz’, a criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder). The investigation is currently underway.
