Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated on August 20 in an open dialogue with entrepreneurs in Nukus that he is always ready to support them and to create even more favorable conditions he said.
About 300 entrepreneurs and investors from all regions of Uzbekistan, as well as over 40 compatriots who have established their businesses abroad, gathered for this meeting. Additionally, about 3,000 business representatives from regional studios are participating.
Recently, 37 leading business representatives were awarded orders and medals, and 104 were awarded the “Active Entrepreneur” badge. Taking this opportunity, the head of state sincerely congratulated them and expressed his gratefulness on behalf of himself and the whole nation for their dedicated work.
“Do not tire of creating innovations and showing initiative. I am always ready to support you and to create even more favorable conditions!”, the president said.
Despite the current difficult and complex times, the President noted the steady growth of the Uzbek economy, recognized by respected international organizations and leaders of foreign countries.
The International Monetary Fund recently confirmed that our country's gross domestic product exceeded 100 billion dollars for the first time.
Reaching this milestone was acknowledged to be significantly contributed to by energetic entrepreneurs who open modern enterprises based on advanced technologies, create hundreds of thousands of new jobs, and rapidly enter global markets.
