At the conclusion of high-level negotiations in Ulaanbaatar, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, signed a joint declaration on establishing comprehensive partnership relations. The Presidential Press Service reported this.
Additionally, in the presence of the Presidents, the following documents were signed:
- agreements on cooperation in the areas of plant quarantine and protection, higher education, mining industry, environmental protection, crime prevention and combat, healthcare and medical science, physical education and sports;
- a memorandum on cooperation between the archival agencies of the two countries;
- cooperation programs between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia, between the foreign ministries for the years 2026-2027, and between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia for the years 2025-2028;
- a cooperation plan to expand agricultural cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia;
- a plan of actions in the field of ecotourism between the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.
