Earlier, a video spread on social media showing gas leaking from a pipeline and catching fire in the Kashkadarya region. The Ministry of Energy provided information on the situation.
It is reported that at 11:35, in the Nishan district of the Kashkadarya region, at the "Shirinobod" site (belonging to "Epsilon" JSC), a fire occurred as a result of gas leaking from a pipe with a diameter of 426 mm between wells.
"Currently, the fire has been completely extinguished, and repair works have commenced. There were no injuries as a result of the incident. Additional information will be provided regarding the situation," - the report says.
