The school director in Romitan district of Bukhara region who forced teachers to collect votes for the "Initiative Budget" project was fined 34 million UZS. The National Commission on Fighting Human Trafficking and Ensuring Decent Labor reported this.
It appears that, upon the initiative of the commission, cases where representatives of certain fields were involved in vote collection for the "Initiative Budget" were thoroughly examined on social media.
The investigation conducted by the State Labor Inspection revealed that the director of the 18th general secondary school in Romitan district of Bukhara region had forcibly involved school teachers in collecting votes for the "Initiative Budget" project, which was beyond their job responsibilities.
A administrative fine of 34 million UZS, equivalent to 100 times the base calculation amount, was imposed on him.
The National Commission calls on all responsible parties, as well as employers and regional leaders, to ensure the constitutional rights of employees," the report states.
