The Enforcement Bureau's New Namangan district division has destroyed 2 pairs of counterfeit vehicle license plates and 33 bottles of 8 types of alcoholic beverages as part of the execution of documents related to elimination in its proceedings. It was found that these products were seized as physical evidence during an operation conducted at the Namangan International Airport and the Pop border customs post. Specifically, in one instance, a citizen I.N was caught at the Namangan International Airport trying to smuggle in a counterfeit vehicle license plate made in the Russian Federation. In another 4 instances, 33 types of imported whiskies, brandies, vodkas, and wines were stopped at border locations.
According to the court's decisive verdict, these seized products were ordered to be destroyed in accordance with the law. During the subsequent operation, the products stored at the "Customs Service" state institution of Namangan region were destroyed by crushing and pouring out.
Overall, during the past year, the Bureau's Namangan city and district divisions have received and completed documents related to the destruction of alcoholic products valued at 64.7 million sum.
