Earlier, reports had spread on social networks about the teachers of the 24th general education school in Turaqo‘rg‘on district being forcibly involved in labor. The press service of the Namangan Region Department for Pre-school and School Education has commented on the situation.

It was noted that the situation of the teachers of the 24th general education school in Turaqo‘rg‘on district being forcibly involved in labor was examined by the working group of the district department for pre-school and school education.

According to the investigations, repair work was carried out at the institution based on the “Initiative Budget” project, and a group of pedagogical and technical staff assisted in landscaping works in the schoolyard.

“The school director was seriously warned against involving teachers and, in general, employees within the education system in tasks outside of their duties. The school and pre-school education department constantly focuses and pays serious attention to preventing the forced labor of teachers and their involvement in other community labor within the limits of labor law,” states the department's response.
