In the 57th plenary session of the Senate, the Law “On Amending and Supplementing the Code on Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was considered.

The discussed Law introduces changes into the Code on Administrative Responsibility aimed at resolving systemic problems that still exist in ensuring traffic safety, creating convenience for the population, and fostering respect for the laws.

Article 171 of the Code on Administrative Responsibility has been supplemented with a new part, which includes a norm related to informing the citizen in a timely manner about violations identified through photo and video recording devices and taking measures.

It stipulates that information about traffic rule violations must be sent to the Traffic Safety Service within 48 hours, otherwise, the driver will not be held administratively responsible.
