In Samarkand, a cadastre official, in Surkhandarya, a former tax officer was caught taking a bribe.

During rapid measures conducted in collaboration with the State Security Service and the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, the illegal actions of a cadastral employee and a former tax inspector were exposed.

It is reported that in the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region, a cadastral engineer of the State Cadastre Chamber branch was caught red-handed while receiving 2.5 thousand dollars in exchange for registering the cadastral passport of a 2-sot plot of land belonging to a citizen in the state register.

Regarding this case, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 3, paragraph "v" of Article 168 and Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code, and detention as a preventive measure has been applied.

Furthermore, during an operational event conducted in the Surkhandarya region, the former chief inspector of the Sherobod district state tax inspectorate was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving 10 million soums in exchange for restoring the ownership rights of a farm in a case being considered by an economic court.

Regarding this case as well, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3, paragraph "v" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and detention as a preventive measure has been applied against the suspect.
