In the meeting chaired by the President, it was emphasized that the energy consumption in new residential and social buildings has decreased by up to 20 percent due to the processing of basalt raw material and its extensive use in construction.

However, it was pointed out that using materials such as windows reflecting solar rays, fiber-reinforced panels, and vermiculite mixtures in construction could further reduce energy consumption by another two-fold.

Currently, the production of special windows coated with solar-reflecting indium, aluminum, or magnesium films, which are in high demand in construction, has not yet been established.

In this regard, the "Quartz" enterprise in Kuvassoy is proposing to initiate the production of such windows with an investment of 20 million dollars, aiming to produce 5 million square meters annually.

The President approved this project and gave relevant instructions to the officials.
