In the past two months, 34 children left unattended abroad were returned to Uzbekistan. The National Agency for Social Protection reported this.
It is reported that in the early days of October, in collaboration with the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Health, four more children deprived of parental care abroad were returned to Uzbekistan. Three of them were from Turkey, and one from Russia.
It is noted that the National Agency for Social Protection has taken urgent measures to place these children and return them to their families or close relatives. Specifically, documents were formalized to hand over two children to their parents and one child under the guardianship of an aunt. Additionally, the situation regarding one child is being assessed, and close relatives are being identified to formalize temporary guardianship until the mother returns from Russia.
For information, in August-September, 34 children deprived of parental care abroad were returned to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since the beginning of the year, a total of 89 minor citizens of Uzbekistan have been repatriated.
It is noted that the National Agency for Social Protection provides them with a variety of social services, including psychological and legal assistance to the children themselves and their family members, through the "Human" social service centers located near their residences.
