The Ministry of Justice announces the adoption of the “Creative Economy Act”.
The purpose of the law is to support, develop, and regulate relationships in the creative economy.
The directions of activities in the creative industry sectors include, among others:
- literary creation;
- applied arts and crafts;
- architecture, design, and urban planning;
- audiovisual arts;
- performing arts;
- the organization of concerts, shows, and public cultural events;
- creative activities in the field of digital technologies.
Creating necessary conditions for citizens to express their creative and intellectual potential in the fields of the creative industry is one of the main directions of the state policy in the field of the creative economy.
The Cabinet of Ministers ensures the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of the creative economy.
The Republican Council for the Development of the Creative Economy is a consultative body that operates on a public basis to develop the sectors of the creative industry.
The law comes into force from the day it is officially published.
