The pilot of Turkish Airlines died during the flight.

Turkish Airlines' captain pilot died during the flight from Seattle to Istanbul. This was reported by the publication Sözcü  

“During the Seattle—Istanbul TK204 flight, the captain pilot of the Airbus 350 with registration TC-LGR lost consciousness. After the initial medical help proved ineffective, the crew members decided to make an emergency landing. However, our captain died before the plane could land,” he wrote.

The pilot was reported to be 59 years old.

Representative Pehlivan passed the regular medical examination at the medical center authorized by the Directorate of Civil Aviation. The examination found no problems that would prevent him from performing his duties.
