A new deputy has been appointed to the chairman of the Central Bank.

The new deputy has, up to this day, been working as the director of the Currency Regulation and Balance of Payments Department at the Central Bank.

Abror Mirzo Olimov has been appointed as the deputy chairman of the Central Bank. 

Until now, A. Olimov has been working as the Director of the Department of Currency Regulation and Balance of Payments at the Central Bank.

Now, his responsibilities will include international cooperation, currency regulation, management of international reserves, safekeeping and handling of precious metals, financial-economic management, and leadership in operational activities. Additionally, he will coordinate the activities of the Republic Currency Exchange.
