Individuals promising to provide driver's licenses in Tashkent region were detained. The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
In a rapid operation conducted by the Piskent district division of the Department and the employees of the Internal Affairs Bodies, citizen H.A. was caught red-handed while taking 1,000 US dollars from citizen M.M. promising to obtain a driver's license through his high-ranking acquaintances.
Similarly, in a rapid operation carried out by the Ohangaron district division of the Department, in cooperation with the State Security Services and the City Internal Affairs Department, citizens I.U. and A.P. were caught red-handed while receiving 1,000 US dollars and 20 million soms from citizens I.E. and I.U. in exchange for providing driver's licenses.
On these cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
