In Valencia, Spain, the “Medio Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich” international half marathon was held. As we have indicated, a member of the Uzbekistan national team, Shokhrukh Davlatov, participated and set a new national record.

It is worth noting that the half marathon organized in this city is considered the competition with the highest time performance in the world. This is because 8 of the last 10 world records were set at this venue. This year's half marathon saw 25,000 participants from 120 countries around the globe starting the race.

Our compatriot Shokhrukh Davlatov covered the distance of more than 21 km in 1:01.48 hours, setting a new national record. This result was 1 minute and 45 seconds better than the previous record. Ultimately, with this result, Davlatov finished 24th.
