According to Sebastian Fischer, a spokesperson for the German Federal Foreign Office, if information about North Korean soldiers participating in the war in Ukraine on Russia's side is confirmed, the German government reserves the right to impose additional sanctions in bilateral relations.

In addition, the secretary added, Berlin's position has been conveyed to the DPRK special representative who was summoned to the German Federal Foreign Office earlier.

"We strongly urged him to not support Russia's illegal aggression against Ukraine and to halt any aid related to Russia," – Fischer added.
