Approximately 65 kg of "hashish" smuggled from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was confiscated.

The employees of the State Security Service for the Surkhandarya region, in a rapid operation conducted in cooperation with the Border Troops and customs authorities, stopped a citizen born in 1994, a resident of the Denov district, while he was driving his “Cobalt” model car in the territory of the Uzun district.

When the car was inspected in the presence of impartial witnesses, it was found that its trunk contained 50 kg 567 gr. of “hashish”, which was documented in accordance with procedural order.

During the pre-investigation check, it was revealed that he had obtained the narcotic substance from Tajik drug traffickers.

In another case recorded in the Fergana region, a citizen born in 1972, residing in the city of Margilan, was arrested in the city of Fergana by employees of the State Security Service while returning to his permanent residence by passenger car. He was accepting 4 kg 929 gr. of “hashish” substance previously left at a secret place in the territory of the Buka district of Tashkent region by Tajik drug couriers. 

It was found that he intended to resell the narcotic substance to make a substantial profit.

In a rapid operation conducted by the employees of the State Security Service of the Andijan region, a “Spark” model car moving in the direction of “Samarkand – Andijan” was stopped and inspected at a traffic police station in the Bostan district.

As a result, 4 kg 727 gr. of “hashish” substance was seized from three individuals born in 1990 and 1995, residing in the Qo‘rg‘ontepa district, and a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic born in 1984, residing in the city of Kara-Suu, Osh region of this state.

It was revealed that they had purchased the narcotic substance on the condition of delivering it to the Urgut district from a Tajik individual and were on their way back after retrieving it from a secret place left behind.

In another case, four citizens born in 1981, 1982, 1991, and 1992, residing in the Pakhtaabad district, were caught red-handed selling 4 kg 634 gr. of “hashish” substance provided by Kyrgyz drug traffickers in the Andijan district for 53 thousand US dollars.

It should be noted that three of them are individuals previously convicted.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals, and pretrial detention has been applied as a preventive measure. Investigative actions are underway.
