The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the continuous policy of improving the quality of education and nurturing our youth into well-rounded individuals during the parliamentary session.
It was noted that for the coming years, it remains a primary task for the Government to increase coverage in kindergartens to 80 percent and in higher education institutions to at least 50 percent.
With funds of 61 million dollars from international financial institutions, 252 new kindergartens will be built by 2025. Additionally, 174 kindergartens and 379 schools will be renovated and constructed anew. For these purposes, 4 trillion soum will be allocated from the budget.
Entrepreneurs will be provided with preferential loans of up to 20 billion soum for building schools.
